Ms. Smaragda Smyrnaki holds degrees in Singing Performance and Music Theory and Harmony from the Olympic Music Conservatory of Athens. She also holds a Piano Teaching Degree and a Soloist Diploma from the National Music Conservatory of Athens, Greece. She has over 10 years of professional music experience and has taught Music Appreciation, AP Music Theory, Drama, Musical Theatre, Choir, and Symphonic Orchestra at St Lawrence College in Greece, Athens and The World Academy-GEMS in Saudi Arabia. Moreover, as part of her continued dedication to teaching, she has been an Associated Teacher at the Association Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM-UK) and member of the Greek Carl Orff Music and Movement System, Schulwerk Association. From Athens, Greece, Ms. Smyrnaki has a gift for teaching, passing on her passion for music to her students in a way that motivates them and tailoring their lessons to meet their needs and goals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son. In addition to music education, she has a variety of other interests such as working out at the gym, dancing, and swimming.
