Lectures were used in the past as an old way of teaching a large number of students. As new technology is now available for education, some people suggest that there is no justification for lectures. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
非常类似。
所以我基本上照搬过去了。。。不过有在每段后面又提到2050年这个关键词。具体写了什么记得不是非常清楚了，有在原来写作的基础上略略改动。
在结尾也有再提到2050年。

The issue whether lectures should be replaced by new technology has become a heated question. Some people say “yes” when other holds an opposed opinion. For me, lecturers for big classroom should not be replaced even under the circumstance of modern technology as reasons discussed below.

To begin with, traditional lectures are still well compatible with the existing education system. The current education system was formulated by educative experts, time-honoured in a long term evolution of human society, in order to have a formative, positive impact on individual’s mind and physical ability under a comprehensive instruction. Having been repeatedly adjusted and modified for a long time, the content of the lectures has a close relationship with the changeable existing education system. In other words, human-faced-to-faced lectures are adaptable for students to build up health personalities, equipped with professional knowledge, which can turn individual to a responsible, loyal and law-abiding citizen who contributes more to his or her motherland. In addition, all the relevant procedure, including teachers’ recruitment and evaluation, as well as textbook are part of this system that can not be replaced by any high-tech.
