◎2015年外籍留学生班招生信息

⊙招生对象：世界各国、各地区有意愿在中国学习汉语和中国文化的适龄中、小学学生（8-16岁），国籍不限。

⊙入学须知：申请入学者可以先在学校网站上登记，或直接到本校招生办填写《学生信息登记表》。

 

◎需提交以下资料：

⊙原就读学校的成绩单或就读证明。

⊙学生护照复印件3份，出生证明复印件1份。

⊙学生护照蓝底免冠2寸照片8张及相片回执。

⊙学生父母的护照复印件各3份。

⊙父母彩色照片（小一寸）各4张。

⊙年满18周岁的外国学生提供广州国际旅行卫生保健中心签发的《体格检查记录表》原件。

⊙学杂食宿费：小学外籍留学生班：人民币3.2万元/学期。

              中学外籍留学生班：人民币3.5万元/学期。

Overview of Huamei School

Founded in 1993, Guangzhou Huamei International School is a full-time English-Chinese boarding school, administered by a group of returned overseas Chinese scholars; it is composed of kindergarten, elementary school, secondary school and pre-university programs. Widely recognized by the Chinese governmental education departments, Huamei School now ranks as one of the best private boarding schools in southern China. It provides professional and tailor-made programs ranging from kindergarten to grade12. Currently, it has over 3000 Chinese and international students aged from 3 to 18 years old. For the international students, the school assures them a remarkable and productive experience for learning the Chinese language and culture, as well as rich eniveronment for learning English The 18-acre campus is situated in a mountainous suburb of Guangzhou, a famous international city close to Hong Kong. Tree-surrounded buildings, one standard athletic field, three tennis courts, one indoor gymnasium, two swimming pools, and a biological garden effectively facilitate over 40 extra-curricular activities.

 

Since its founding Huamei School has attracted a large number of international students, providing them with tailor-made English and Chinese curricula to address individual needs. ◎Compulsory Language Certificate Examination for the Students

⊙The HSK test roganized by the Office of Chinese Language Council International

⊙The KET/PET test organized by Cambridge ESOL(English for Speakers of Other Languages)

⊙The Level of the test the students take is to be decided based on students’ ability.The subject teacher shall notify the registration of the test.

 

◎Faculty and Staff

⊙Teachers of Huamei are experienced professionals with bachelor’s / master’s degree obtained in China or abroad，and a teacher’s certificate or equivalent.

⊙Responsible and detail-oriented teachers with rich experience are selected to be homeroom teachers of the international classes.

⊙Professional CSL ( Chinese as a second language), native English-speaking teachers and experienced Chinese English teachers.

 

◎Life management

⊙Our students’apartments are well-equipped with air-conditioners, shower-rooms, laundries and medical facilities with two or four students sharing one room. Care-giving teachers are responsible for supervising the daily life of students away from their classes.

⊙The nutritionist designs customized recipes for students with different needs, so that the nutrition balance is assured the adequate nutrition is provided through the six meals each day.

Each student can obtain 7 uniforms per year, and daily necessities are offered so that almost all the needs of our students can be satisfied.

⊙On weekends, shuttle buses will take the children to and from school, escorted jointly by the care-giving teachers and school guards, with destinations covering all major spots of Guangzhou city and some other regions .Varied activities are arranged for the students staying on campus.

 

◎Prospective Students

Students of any nationality aged 8-16 who want to study Chinese and English in China.

 

◎Application procedures

The applicant needs to go to the admission office of Huamei School, fill out the "Application Form for International Students, and pay the application fee for RMB200 yuan.

 

◎The applicant shall submit the following documents:

⊙Complete Application Form of Guangzhou Huamei International School.

⊙The transcript offered by the former school, and the written statement testifying to the student's studying experience at the school.

⊙Three photocopies of the student's passport and VISA.    

⊙One photocopy of birth certificate.

⊙Eight passport photos of 2 inches and the phototaking receipt.

⊙Three photocopies of the passports of the student's parents.

⊙Four recent color photos of 1 inch of the student's parents respectively.

⊙The original copy of the physical check-up document offered by Guangzhou International Traveling Hospital for the students above 18.

⊙Two photocopies of the guardian’s identification card (or passport) and  Two color photos of 1 inch of the guardian.

 

◎Costs

⊙Total Costs (mainly including tuition, accomodation, school uniform, transportation,etc.)

⊙Primary School students: RMB 32,000 per semester.

⊙Middle School and High school students: RMB 35,000 per semester.

⊙Fee for staying at the school on weekends and in the holidays: RMB200 per day.
